Awe is an ongoing project attempting to embody echoes of the sublime through my interactive light sculpture practice.
This project was initiated and continues to be developed through the work done within the Masters of Design by Research degree.

Lamallae is a sound reactive sculpture which attempts to mimic and highlight the forms and frailty of nature, specifically fungi, through the use of light and sound.
Debuted November 15th 2019 at Colour Club in Melbourne, Australia. As a part of the Electric Sheep event, for Melbourne Music Week
Orp is a sound reactive installation that uses addressable LEDs and two way mirrors in order to create the illusion of an infinite space within the boundaries of the structure.
The first prototype of this installation was created alongside designer Sam Fuller and using a Christopher Boots frame. The prototype was presented at the 2018 Christopher Boots Halloween Ball after party performing along side DJ duo, Computer Rooter.
Further iterations of this project are in progress.
Amplify is an interactive installation which uses light in order to represent the impact of sound within a space and the people within it.
This installation utilizes the physical attributes from Dissolve, by allowing the acrylic screens to play with light in order to achieve the opposite effect of its predecessor. While Dissolve focused on soothing, Amplify seeks to excite.
The installation gathers live sound input from its
surroundings, affecting , through the use of Processing and LED driver FadeCandy, the addressable LEDs within the perspex sculpture.
This installation was presented at LOOP project space, on WhiteNight as a part of the LightMoves event, allowing live DJ’s to visually represent their performances.
Dissolve is an interactive installation which uses a collection of sound and visual techniques in order to induce a sense of relaxation for the user. This tool was created in order to combat the growing trend of depression and anxiety that Australia has seen for the last 5 years.
The installation uses addressable LEDS controlled by analogue pressure sensors. Each of these sensors triggers a different sound in an array of soothing samples , while triggering at the same time, specific sections of the light sculpture.
This project was developed as a required practice section for the Industrial Design Honours thesis.

This Processing based drawing tool allows for the user to create animated sketches that resemble Joan Miro’s paintings and Alexander Calder sculptures.
The interactive features of this sketch were mainly mouse and keyboard based functions which allowed the user to select and interact with each of the vector based brushes created in Illustrator.
The rotating function was used in order to resemble the movement in Alexander Calders installations and mobiles. The additive size increment allows the artwork to acquire the 3D sense that would let the user perceive their sketch as one of the sculptures by these artists.
